길버트 오'설리반

 

성이 o' (오 어퍼스트로피)로 시작하면 아일랜드 출신이라고 생각하면 된다. 프린스의 Nothing Compares 2 U 를 커버해서 일약 스타가 된 시너드 오코너도 마찬가지이다. 

 

70년대생들의 가슴을 자극했던 팝 , 그 중에 길버트 오설리반이 있다. Alone Again 을 들으면 그때의 추억이 떠오른다.

 

아일랜드 워터포드에서 태어난 길버트 오설리반은 1946년생으로 올해 73세다. Alone Again 은 70년대 초반에 히트했고 그 외에 클레어, 겟다운등 많은 히트곡을 배출했다.
