알라딘 주제가 "Speechless" -나오미 스캇

알라딘 영화를 보고 왔어요. 애니메이션 버전을 보지 않아서 약간은 걱정됐지만 그런 우려를 다 날려버렸습니다. 

 

손발이 오그라들수 있는 뮤지컬의 형식도 전혀 어색하지 않았어요. 어떤 씬에서는 겨울왕국 같은 느낌도 받았고요. 

 

가족이 다같이 볼 수 있는 아주 재미있는 영화입니다. 

 

오늘 소개할 곡은 알라딘의 여자 주인공 '나오미 스캇' 이 부른 'Speechless'입니다. 

 

여자로서 부당한 대우를 받아오는 재스민 공주가 용기를 내면서 '나는 숨죽여 있지 않을거야. 나의 목소리를 낼 거야." 

 

라고 하면서 힘차게 노래를 부릅니다. 바로 여기서요.

주연을 맡은 나오미 스캇의 노래실력에 한 번 더 놀랐는데요 연기자 이전에 가수였다고 합니다.

나오미 그레이스 스캇은 1993년 5월 6일 생으로 영국 태생입니다. 런던에서 태어났으며 어머니는 인도계로 우간다에서 태어났는데 그녀가 어릴 때 영국으로 이민 왔습니다. 나오미의 아빠 크리스토퍼는 영국 사람으로서 그녀에게는 죠슈아라는 오빠가 하나 있습니다. 부모 두 분 다 브리지 교회의 목사입니다. 교회에서 노래를 먼저 시작했다고 하네요.
